Der Track ist Teil des bis dato unveröffentlichten Albums „Faithless“. Für die Produktion des balladesken Titels, der zwischen Gospel und Country changiert, zeichnete Ron Aniello verantwortlich, Recording Engineers waren dabei Toby Scott und Rob Lebret. Das Mastering übernahm kein Geringerer als Bob Ludwig.

„Faithless“ ist die dritte Vorab-Single aus Bruce Springsteens kommendem Album „Tracks II: The Lost Albums“, das am 27. Juni erscheint. Eine bewegende Meditation über Glauben und Akzeptanz:„Faithless“ schlägt einen ergreifenden, spirituellen Ton an. Der Song erinnert an die Stimmung und Orte, die in anderen Werken der Sammlung zu finden sind, jedoch mit einem Fokus, der seiner Herkunft gerecht wird. Das Lyric-Video zur Single wird am 5. Mai veröffentlicht.
